Katie Franks is an experienced Communication & Hearing Specialist. 

"Becoming a mum inspired me to become a teacher. Being a mum of a deaf child, inspired more study. The learning journey is lifelong (and kiddos teach me the most!), but after 6 years as a classroom teacher and 3 years working as a Teacher of the Deaf, I’m heading out on my own".
Establishing Be Seen Be Heard, is an opportunity  to offer tailored, inclusive communication support to little ones and big-little ones (if my 13yo is anyone to go by) to help them better engage with others and the world around them 🌎 - and hopefully brightening their day along the way ☀️🌈☀️🌈
I hope my personal and professional experience brings meaningful, engaging and informative communication support for children/young people and their families. 

We offer tailored, inclusive communication support to those who are otherwise unable to secure support for their communication that suits them.  We do this through: 

•  1:1 home-based communication therapy sessions
• Communication support in kindergartens, childcares and schools
• consultancy/ professional development for teachers/educators
